When you play the E7 chord you can play the bottom E string by placing your finger in the 4th fret which makes it “E” with the dropped C tuning.

Suggestion: Play the basic melody first and then break it down in chunks .. kind of like being given all the components of dinner w/out the plate .. thanks for the video BTW :)

Guitar two was glaringly more “muffled” sounding compared to guitar one. Much less bright, and sounded muddy. Maybe old/dead strings? Difference in pickup height? Whatever the case, number one is the winner!

i did it once like 10s better but somehow then the action in a few days gets to high and i do hate that so i believe those guitars necks where made for 9s, as the factory send thet to the guitar shops.

I love Yamaha guitars, including this model, the neck is easy to play, I wish they added a contoured neck heel though. In my opinion they are better than squires.

I love this case, 12 years ago I was starting to learn guitar, got my self the most affordable dean guitar my pubescent self could purchase, went to my local pawn shop and found one of this cases for 60 dollars. got it went on with my life and didn't realize how much of a gem I found by accident, considering the thing is worth more than the guitar I got it from I am quite surprised. On a related note, I moved to Europe and didn't bring it with me, I am going back to America in December and my anxiety is not letting me sleep until I figure out the Width of the case, to see if its less than 15 inches, and can therefore be brought with me as my carry on for 30 euros of if it will be charged as a voluminous item and I will be charged 150. Don't get me wrong I love the case and now that I am playing again want my guitar but for 150 euros I would rather sell the case on craigslist and get a gig bag.

WEM Best Combo Ever! This is one of the best amps ever I used for studio/home use. Puts out only around 10 watts. Only made a very short time, end of 1977 till early 1978. Tone is british a bit Marshall like, super warm cleans because of the old Celestion 20 W speaker and the two ECL82 power tubes. Absolute and I mean it, great overdriven tones! Not so much overdrive as for example a friedman dirty shirley, but better sounding cleans and this WEM makes you wanna play if you use a suitable guitar!

I have a Hiscox for my ‘59 reissue 335. I have the two extra pads in the bottom of the case, not because I truly need them but I sleep better at night. Lol I also have a Hiscox case for my Seagull Artist Studio. I have no complaints with either of them.

To my ears, the AER's larger speaker is very apparent. Henriksen now has 8" and 10" available.
